Call: 407-601-6604Bo is a Florida Bar Board Certified construction attorney with an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is an expert in Florida construction law. Less than 1% of all of the Florida attorneys are Board Certified in construction law. Bo’s practice primarily focuses on parties in construction matters such as architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, insurers and sureties, in addressing the legal challenges of conducting business in Florida. This includes litigation, appeals, contract negotiation and drafting, as well as risk management to prevent claims, various commercial and business litigation matters including disputes regarding contracts, leases, business torts, trade secrets, intellectual property, and non-competition agreements.
Bo also has significant experience related to horizontal construction such as roadways, bridges and site civil issues, as well as vertical construction regarding disputes over commercial buildings, residential projects, including apartments, condominium conversions, oceanfront condominiums, and single-family homes. Bo also handles disputes over HVAC issues and has litigated and tried several construction cases involving surgery centers involving mechanical systems.
Prior to joining Thompson, Jaglal & Sutton, P.A., Bo practiced in two law firms with Tier 1 rated construction practices. Bo’s first job out of law school he served as in-house attorney at Starwood Hotels and Resorts in the Acquisition and Development Group, where his practice consisted of obtaining development entitlements, as well as defending against construction claims, environmentalist anti-development claims, and lien issues. Bo is one of Central Florida’s rarities, a multigenerational Orlando native. As a result, Bo has significant ties and connections to Florida, as well as in the Central Florida community.
